Origin name: Musa Dwarf Cavendish
You may think the banana plant only enjoyed southern parts of the world? Prepare yourself because this particular dwarf is about to hit you with a real surprise – it actually fits perfectly into your own home! Although it might not seem like it, this plant is quite picky and demands a humid, bright and spacious living accommodation. It's quite sensitive and will give you a hard time if demands aren’t met. On the other hand, if you take extra care leaving the plant in a warm and humid room, it will reward you with a new and marvellous leaf every weak.
How to care for it:
It needs good light but may accept part shade and full sun. When the top part of soil is dry, it’s time to water and this may happen as much as every other day in summer. Regular misting is highly recommended. We also recommend you feed it every 2-3 weeks with a garden fertilizer. No need to fertilize when plant isn’t growing or if it’s overgrown and you don’t want it to grow any more.
